Shanghai, China — Shanghai Haoyo Machinery Co., Ltd. introduces the GRC24‑12‑9 remote control grab, built for single‑hook ship cranes and port bulk‑material handling operations. This remote control grab enables mid‑air opening without landing requirement, suitable for grain, coal, mineral sand and other bulk goods on vessels and terminals.
Core Specifications of GRC24‑12‑9 remote control grab
- Volume range: adjustable from 6 cbm to 12 cbm by adding or removing kick plates, no modification to main structure. Matched material density covers 1.25‑2.5 t/m³.
- Designed for 24‑ton crane; grab dead weight is 9 ton, grab payload reaches 15 ton.
- Shell material Q345B; side lip plate 25 mm Hardness500, bottom lip plate 30 mm Hardness500. Pin material 42CrMo quenched & tempered, HRC55‑60.
- Hydraulic configuration: Parker seals, SUN cartridge valves, Rexroth 24V solenoid valve. Opening time approx.9 seconds, closing time approx.10 seconds.
- Remote unit: Italian‑made system, working distance 100 meters, stable signal under electromagnetic interference on ship decks and busy port zones.
- Power supply: 24V‑10Ah lithium battery, continuous working time about 400 hours. Charger supports 110V / 220V input with auto power‑off after full charge.
- Coating standard: SA2.5 blasting, total film thickness 150 μm marine anti‑corrosion painting.
- Certification option: ABS, BV, CCS classification survey available, including drawing approval, third‑party inspection and load test.
- Complete supply: 35‑ton working‑load shackle, lifting ring and 32 mm steel wire rope delivered together.
Application Scenarios
This remote control grab fits deck cranes on bulk carriers, harbour portal cranes and stockyard operations. The equipment has been applied in multiple Latin‑American projects.
